President Trump stated on Sunday that he has extended an invitation the family of a National Guard member fatally shot last week to come to the executive mansion.

“She had a lot of kindness and she definitely had bravery,” he addressed the gathering at the memorial. “Though her time ended too soon, she has made an impact that’s going to be remembered always.”
